Flashlight Mount Installation Instructions

Required Tools: 7mm socket with ratchet, drill with #25 drill bit (5/32” equivalent), straight edge, razor blade, sharpie, flashlight, tools needed to remove panel from seat.

Warning! Sharp tools are used in this installation. Take proper precautions to prevent injury or damage to the vehicle.


    Step 1: Locate desired seat panel for installation.

    Step 2: Mockup the flashlight mount with flashlight installed and make sure doors, or legs clear comfortably. (Fig 1)

    Step 3: Mark installation location with tape or sharpie.

    Step 4: Remove seat panel, or verify you aren’t going to drill into switches, actuators, frames, or wiring. 

    Step 5: Place Mounts onto seat panel and if necessary, trim back supports or brackets with razor blade. (Fig 2)

    Step 6: Mark holes for drilling and use a straight edge to line up the next set of holes.

    Step 7: Drill the first set of holes and temporarily install two bolts. (Fig 3)

    Step 8: Place straight edge on top of bolts and verify second set of hole markings still line up with the straight edge. If everything lines up, remove the bolts and drill the second set of holes.

    Step 9: Clean up any markings or tape.

    Step 10: Install mounts. You can put the bolts or the nuts in the mounts according to what you feel looks best. 

    Step 11: Install the flashlight. (Fig 4)
